The way we show up in the world personally and professionally can have a profound impact on whether we are successful in meeting our ambitious goals. Yet time and time again we try to “manage our way out” of situations without really dealing with the root cause of the challenge.

I help individuals and leaders articulate their vision for themselves and their organizations, map vision to current reality, identify the challenges that lie below the surface, explore the role of identity and race, and take ongoing action to move closer toward vision and impact. My coaching goes beyond technical leadership strategies and hones in on the Emotional Intelligence skills necessary for transformative leadership including:

  • Self-Awareness: What are my triggers and how do I normally respond to them?

  • Self-Management: How can I manage my triggers to reach my goals and support organization-wide success?

  • Social Awareness: What do others need to be successful?

  • Relationship Management: How can I support others in being successful?

Grounded in an equity lens, my coaching helps clients become self-reflective, empowered, and prepared to do what it takes to reach their goals.

I tailor coaching packages to the needs of the client, which could also include 360 evaluations to add more data to the learning and observations or site visits to provide real-time coaching and support. Please contact me directly to discuss your needs.

Coaching to grow personally and professionally

Coaching can be transformative on a personal and a professional level. My coaching supports both.

I work with individuals who want to explore their vision for the next phase of their lives, and I work with all kinds of leaders — from emerging to executives — to define and pursue their vision for their work.

Regardless of the goal for coaching, the process is similar. Using vision as the north star, clients learn to:

  • dig deep into values and reflect on how they drive action

  • explore their own patterns that either propel them to success or get in their way

  • anticipate challenges and use concrete strategies to overcome barriers or triggers

  • use empathy as a superpower for managing relationships — in or outside of work

  • work toward concrete goals
